We arrived on Vancouver Island on December 12...for now we are renting until we find the one perfect home. It really takes a creative soul to turn an outdated sixties bungalow into something pretty and homey. Here I have posted some pictures of what I have done trying to make it beautiful for my family.

My french country Island could not fit in the kitchen here so I used it as a divider between the dining and living room. It adds some character and charm to the room. Don't you think?

Our journey started on Sunday December 6, 2009 . We packed the truck with our son Samuel, our german shepherd Pilot and two cats Acoya and Kachina and headed out of Ridgeway , Ontario to Duncan , British Columbia.

It took us three days to get of Ontario. We live in such a beautiful vast province. It usually takes about two days to get out of Ontario but we hit alot of rough weather . Pretty scary at times with the snow coming of the Great Lakes.
I love hearts being such a romantic myself... this is actually a Christmas ornament that is just to beautiful to put away!
I am a Southern Ontario girl now living on beautiful Vancouver Island...
I love all things french, white, old linen and china.
I'm a wife, mom, decorator and visual artist.
My passions are decorating , cooking, music, nature, hiking and animals.

I love to create... I find beauty in the everyday...
welcome to my Blog
